Semi-automatic Analysis of Individual Learning Processes in Mathematics

How can students be activated in introductory math courses at university? How can individual feedback be given to open tasks with a large number of participants, without spending all night correcting assignments? How can computer tools help on this? SAiL-M is a project founded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and acts within the program "Hochschulforschung als Beitrag zur Professionalisierung der Hochschullehre - Zukunftswerkstatt Hochschullehre".
